What's inside

Four parts doing the scrubbing for you.

Loose sneakers slam against the drum and come out half clean. Inside SneakSuds, they ride on a cushion of fibers that work dirt off every surface as the machine turns.

Thousands of soft fingers rub the toe, heel and sides at once. They grab grit without scratching uppers.

Water and detergent flow straight through, so suds reach the shoes and rinse back out.

Zipper garage

The pull tucks under a fabric flap, so the bag stays shut mid-cycle and the metal never knocks your drum.

A full-length opening so you can slide in a pair of sneakers without wrestling them.

The cycle

Four steps. About two minutes of your time.

The washer does the rest. Here's the routine that keeps sneakers looking right wash after wash.

  1. STEP 01 · PREP

    Pull laces & insoles

Knock off loose mud. Laces can go in the bag too, or wash them separately.

  2. STEP 02 · LOAD

    Zip one pair inside

Close the zipper all the way and tuck the pull into its garage.

  3. STEP 03 · WASH

    Gentle, cold or warm

Mild liquid detergent. Add a couple of towels to balance the drum.

  4. STEP 04 · DRY

    Air dry overnight

Stuff with paper towels and let them dry at room temperature. Skip the dryer.

01 · The cocoon

Built like a cocoon.

02 · The spin

Toss it in. Walk away.

03 · The finish

Out clean. Every time.

Straight talk

What to wash. What to keep out.

A washing machine isn't right for every shoe. Here's the honest list, so your favorite pair doesn't become a lesson.

Good to go

  • Canvas sneakers and low-tops
  • Mesh and knit running shoes
  • Synthetic casual and court sneakers
  • Kids' sneakers without lights or batteries
  • Laces, insoles (if the label allows) and socks

Keep these out

  • Leather, suede and nubuck
  • Dress shoes, heels and boots with glued trim
  • Light-up shoes or anything with electronics
  • Shoes with a "do not machine wash" label
  • Worn-out pairs with soles already peeling
